Renowned for his portrayal of ordinary individuals in multiple movies, Vinay Rajkumar believes audiences find a sense of identification and connection when they witness regular people as the main character on screen. In his upcoming project, which is directed by Vijay Kumar, Vinay will be starring alongside Vijay’s daughter, Monisha Vijay Kumar. Clarifying that Duniya Vijay sir is solely directing the film and not appearing in it, Vinay reveals, “Our paths crossed unexpectedly during a movie promotion, and it was then that he presented this script to me. Vijay sir possesses a unique perspective and showcases the common man in a manner unlike any other. For instance, in his film Bheema, there are characters who converse in Kannada-Tamil and Urdu-Kannada dialects, a rarity in the industry. Such content not only appeals to a diverse audience but also introduces fresh narratives. All of his films offer complete entertainment packages, and his journey is truly inspirational. I am currently preparing for my role in the upcoming film, scheduled to commence filming in two months.” Speaking on embodying the common man on screen, Vinay expresses, “Every individual is the protagonist of their own life story. There exists a hero within the ordinary man. By observing our surroundings, we find numerous ordinary tales waiting to be shared - stories that may otherwise remain untold. Through such narratives, my aim is to remind the common man that ‘You are a hero too.’ With belief in oneself, a fulfilling conclusion is possible! I strive to represent the common man in my films, enabling each viewer to relate and experience a sense of heroism within their respective stories.”
